Went out to BES Racing today to pay for the motor.
Got some build sheets and paperwork on the cam specs etc.I had
forgotten the specs on the cam I had in there.It is a custom grind Comp
Cams 237/239 114 LSA and a .595 lift.
The motor was crated up and waiting on the truck to pick it up.It will be at the shop before 10:00 in the morning.
Talked to them about the break in procedure.They used Pennzoil Diesel
oil, 15W 40 for the fill and we need to finish the fill when installing
the motor.All I could find was Mobil 1 conventional 15W40 Diesel oil
which they said would be fine.Supposedly has more zinc and other
additives for break in.I should run that for 500 miles and switch to my
Amsoil Dominator Racing Oil synthetic 10W 30.
Got my plugs ,wires ,sleeves ,billet separators and Water Wetter down to the shop today.
