| Well last night I took the truck out and heard a loud ticking and clattering under the hood.Took it to my buddie`s shop .This morning I get the call that a valve spring broke and caused the valve to fall into the #4 cylinder.Won`t know the extent of the damage until the motor comes out and the engine shop looks at it.Total rebuild time. | |

| Engine is toast.Valve in the bottom of the motor.Have to see if the heads are OK.My buddy is pulling the motor today /tomorrow.Going to have http://www.besracing.com/ do the motor. They did my 396 stroker in the SS and they do the NCWTS motors as well as some of the world record holding drag cars. | |

| Getting a total rebuild. If the heads are Ok I`ll reuse them.If not I`ll go with the Strikers http://jmcylinderheads.com/?page_id=61 Jesels,Crower rr, rods and valvetrain forged pistons, etc.
Not stock.I have the Stage III Viper heads,236/242 cam and all the supporting bolt ons , headers, cat delete 3" mids ,Magnaflow, Hennessey TB etc.
Don`t know why it dropped a valve. | |
