OK IM NOT A MECHANIC AT ALL --HAVE SOME KNOWLEDGE BUT ANY HELP WELCOME PLEASE Smile ITS BEEN FICKEN FREEZING HERE AND THE TRUCK WAS HAVING A BATTERY ISSUE LOW CCA'S BUT IN THE MIST OF THAT I HAVE NOTICED A BIT OF NOISE WHEN TURNING ALMOST LIKE A RUBER RUBBING NOISE -- NOT TIRES COUDL BE IT BE POWER STEARING UNIT OR WATER PUMP ???????? WHENDO THEESE GO OUT FELLAS? MY RIG HAS 50 k . IF YOUHAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS LET ME KNOW PLEAE COULD IT HAVE TO DO WITH OIT OR WHAT IM LOST DONT WANT TO GET RAPED AT SHOP , THANKS TTYS US!

I need to get a new batt that has a good CCA...like a red top that has 1000 CAA's. The rub'n is your front end....mine did it all the time in the cold temps.

Tom,which Red Top has 1000 CCA? The one listed for the truck is this one:

OK.I thoughtIi missed one.I had bad luck with my RT in the truck....dunno.This Interstate is a monster .Had to modify the battery tray to get it to fit.

I havent had a problem yet with my RT.....even took it out and put it in the mini van for my trip to TX

could just be your bushings making noise, my springs groan a little first in the morning when its cold

Now in the SS I have 2 Optimas.A Red Top for starting up front and a Yellow Top in back for the stereo.No issues with them at all.

I just had the problem in the truck.Went through 2 batteries in a little over a month. Mad
